Commod
The platform we work through · page updated 19 August 2026
Material that Warren Business Group sources for export is introduced through Commod. This page exists so that anyone we approach can see the route before they are asked to share a single document.
What Commod is
Commod is an independent company operating the platform that both sides of a physical commodity trade use: sellers bring material to it, buyers transact through it. In its own public words, it is "where physical commodities meet trust", and it describes itself as combining specialised AI agents with a proprietary protocol to "verify and execute transactions before money moves."
That description is Commod's, quoted from its own website, not ours. We are not in a position to certify anyone else's technology, and we do not.

Why we work through it
The problem in origin-side commodity trade is not finding material. It is that a first-time seller and an unfamiliar buyer have no reason to trust each other, and the usual answer — trust the person in the middle — is exactly the arrangement that goes wrong most often.
- Both sides are in the same place. Buyers and sellers transact on the one platform, under the one process. A seller is not handed down a chain of intermediaries, each taking a view and a margin.
- The verification is not ours to mark. We qualify what we source, but our own opinion of a seller is not evidence. Routing the transaction through a platform that runs its own process means the introducer is not also the referee.
- Sellers can see the process before committing. A producer who has never exported can look at the route, and at this page, before handing over title documents.
- It suits the region we work in. Much of what we see in Mexico and Latin America is held by people with real material and no export history. A structured process is more use to them than a handshake.
What this page does not mean
- We are not Commod and we do not speak for it, represent it, or bind it. It is a separate company with its own terms.
- An introduction is not an acceptance. Nothing here states or implies that Commod will take on, verify, buy, sell or settle any particular material. That is Commod's decision and Commod's alone.
- We publish no commercial terms. The arrangement between Warren Business Group and Commod is a private commercial matter and none of it is set out here.
- This is not an investment or a solicitation of capital in Commod, in Warren Business Group, or in anything else.
If you hold material
Email shane@warrenbg.com. Tell us what the material is, where it sits, and who legally owns it. Those three answers determine whether there is anything to discuss, and it costs nothing to find out.
We do not charge sellers to be assessed and we run no listing fee. See what we do for how an enquiry is handled, and what we will not promise you.
